Giuseppe Vignali graduated in Mechanical Engineering and obtained his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Parma in 2009. He has been a University Researcher since 2007 and an Associate Professor in Mechanical Industrial Systems at the University of Parma since 2015.

His research activity has developed within the scientific discipline ING-IND/17 “Mechanical Industrial Systems,” leading to a total of 137 publications, divided as follows: 55 published or accepted for publication in international peer-reviewed scientific journals; 6 editorials in ISI and Scopus international journals; 1 monograph; 5 articles in international books; 45 publications in Proceedings of International Scientific Conferences, of which 32 indexed in the Scopus database; 12 articles in national journals; 13 articles in national conferences.
