Arianna Paini obtained her Master’s Degree in Food Industry Plants and Machines Engineering in 2021 after completing her Bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Milan. She is currently a Ph.D. student in Industrial Engineering at the University of Parma.

Since February 2022, she has been working with the Industrial Systems research group at the University of Parma on topics related to environmental impact assessment conducted through Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).

Her scientific publications focus on applying LCA to evaluate innovative technologies in the food sector and new construction materials that include a percentage of waste in a circular economy perspective. Her current research also focuses on defining new methodological approaches for integrated assessment of various aspects, beyond environmental ones, within the LCA framework.

In addition to participating in several research projects, she collaborates with companies and teaches on environmental sustainability topics.
