University Researcher in Agricultural Genetics (AGR/07) – SCVSA, UniPR

Alessio Malcevschi, graduated in Chemistry, is affiliated with the Department of Chemical, Life, and Environmental Sustainability Sciences (SCVSA) at the University of Parma and has been involved in sustainability for years. Since 1997, he has been a University Researcher in Agricultural Genetics.

Since 1997, he has also been a lecturer in various courses on agricultural genetics and bioremediation at the University of Parma. Since 2019, he has been teaching “International Cooperation in Food Sustainability” at the Department of Economic and Business Sciences at the University of Parma.

He is also the Rector’s delegate for the Network of Universities for Sustainable Development (RUS) and the University of Parma’s representative at the ASviS SDGs table. He is also the organizer of the ASviS Sustainable Development Festival on behalf of the University of Parma. In the project, he will be responsible for communication and dissemination on the project’s topics related to the circular economy and the Sustainable Development Goals set by the 2030 Agenda.

His current research topics include the chemical-physical analysis of biochar produced from pyrolysis and pyro-gasification plants powered by residual biomass from agro-industrial activities and its use in environmental and construction fields.
